Line Painting Services in Kitchener-Waterloo

Kitchener Parking Lot Line Painting Pros offers 17 line painting services from one specialist crew, covering outdoor parking lots, underground garages, sports courts and fields, and industrial floors. Since 2015 we have finished more than 550 jobs across Waterloo Region, Guelph and London.

Each service uses its own paint system and layout standard. Parking lots get waterborne traffic paint sprayed at 15 mils wet, accessible stalls follow the AODA, courts get 100% acrylic court paint and warehouse aisles get two-part epoxy.

Property managers, condo boards, schools, recreation departments and plant managers use this page to find the right service. If your situation does not fit one box, the table further down matches common problems to the service that fixes them.

Parking lots

Parking Lot Line Painting Services

Our parking lot services cover the full life of a lot's markings: painting them, redesigning them, removing them and keeping them legal. Most commercial lots need two or three of these on the same visit, and we price them as one job.

New Parking Lot Layout

First markings on fresh asphalt, or a re-layout to add stalls and fix traffic flow. We measure, snap chalk lines and paint stalls to Kitchener's 2.6 m by 5.5 m zoning minimum.

Parking Lot Line Removal

Old lines ground off with a walk-behind scarifier before a re-layout. We never black out lines with paint, because the ghost line returns once that coat wears.

Accessible Parking Markings

AODA Type A stalls at 3.4 m wide and Type B at 2.4 m, each with a 1.5 m access aisle in high-contrast diagonal lines and the International Symbol of Access.

Fire Route Markings

Fire route curb and lane lines with stencils at intervals, matched to the signs your municipal fire route by-law requires. Clear markings help keep the route open, as the Ontario Fire Code expects.

Stencils, EV Stalls and Custom Logos

Arrows, stall numbers, visitor, reserved, pickup and EV charging stencils from 4 in to 24 in, plus custom logos cut from plastic for your property.

Safety and garages

Safety Markings and Underground Garages

Safety markings tell drivers and pedestrians where the lot changes: a bump, a hazard, a crossing or a garage ramp. They use wider lines and brighter colours than stall striping, and some last longer in thermoplastic.

Speed Bump Markings

Yellow or white bars and chevrons that make speed bumps visible at dusk and after a light snowfall. Paint-only marking runs $40 to $90 per bump.

Hazard and Warning Markings

Diagonal hatching and chevrons for no-parking zones, loading areas, bollards and curb ends. Hatched areas are priced by the square foot.

Crosswalk and School Zone Markings

Ladder crosswalks, stop bars and bus loop markings in paint or preformed thermoplastic. Thermoplastic lasts 3 to 6 years against 1 to 2 years for paint.

Parking Garage Line Painting

Stall lines, ramp arrows, column hatching and pedestrian routes in underground and structured parking. Garages can be painted year-round when the slab is above 10 C and dry.

Courts and fields

Sports Court, Field and Playground Line Painting

Our sports court line painting services cover school yards, municipal parks, private clubs and gym floors. Court lines go down in 100% acrylic court paint on acrylic surfaces such as Laykold or Plexipave, while turf fields get water-based marking paint from a walk-behind field striper.

Basketball Court Line Painting

Full and half courts on asphalt school yards, parks and driveways, with the key, three-point arc and centre circle. A full court runs $650 to $1,200.

Tennis Court Line Painting

Crisp lines on acrylic club and municipal courts after resurfacing, or when old lines turn chalky. Most courts run $900 to $1,600 each.

Pickleball Court Line Painting

Dedicated pickleball courts, or pickleball lines blended onto a tennis court in a contrasting colour. Each court runs $350 to $650.

Sports Field Line Painting

Soccer and football field relining with turf paint, booked per visit through the season at $250 to $450 per field.

Playground Line Painting

Hopscotch, four square, maps and number games on school and daycare asphalt, at $150 to $600 per game.

Industrial floors

Warehouse and Industrial Floor Line Painting

Warehouse floor marking separates forklifts from people with painted walkways, lift truck lanes, racking zones and dock markings. We paint them indoors year-round, usually on weekends or planned shutdowns so production keeps running.

Epoxy versus paint is the main decision. Two-part epoxy or polyurea lines last 3 to 5 years under forklift traffic, while waterborne acrylic floor paint suits light-duty storage areas.

Warehouse Floor Line Painting

Layouts planned around Ontario's Industrial Establishments regulation under the OHSA, at $1.50 to $4.00 per linear foot of epoxy line depending on prep and width.

Specialists only

What We Leave to Paving Partners

We do not pave, sealcoat, fill cracks or clear snow. We are a dedicated line painting specialist, and we work alongside the paving and sweeping contractors property managers already use.

  • After a repave, temporary layout lines go down so the lot can open, and final striping follows about 30 days later once the asphalt oils cure.
  • After sealcoating, we schedule striping once your sealcoat contractor confirms the coating has cured.
  • Before a spring restripe, a sweep by your sweeping contractor saves time, though we still blow every painted line clean before spraying.
  • Where cracks, ravelling or potholes cross stall lines, we flag them in our photo report so your paving contractor can repair them first.

Staying a specialist keeps our crews and stripers dedicated to markings all season. It also means your quote covers lines only, with no bundled paving work you did not ask for.
