Where we paint

Line Painting Across Waterloo Region, Guelph and London

Kitchener Parking Lot Line Painting Pros paints parking lots, sports courts and warehouse floors across Waterloo Region, plus Guelph and London. Since 2015 we have finished more than 550 jobs for property managers, condo corporations, plazas, schools and industrial sites in these cities.

Our main service area is Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, all within about 25 minutes of our shop, where same-week touch-ups are routine. Guelph jobs are grouped onto set days, and London is served on planned multi-day trips.

Every city on this page has its own zoning by-law, and the minimum stall width changes from one to the next. We lay out each job to the by-law of the city it sits in, not to a single regional standard.

Home base

Kitchener: Our Home Base

Kitchener is where most of our work happens, 5 to 20 minutes from the shop in any direction. Our Kitchener line painting covers every neighbourhood, and our parking lot line painting and restriping service is the job we do most here.

Kitchener lots are laid out to Section 5 of the City's 2019 zoning by-law, with a 2.6 m by 5.5 m minimum stall and compact stalls of 2.4 m by 4.8 m allowed for up to 10% of required parking.

  • Downtown and Belmont Village

Tight downtown lots, condo garages and the small plazas closest to our shop.

  • Fairway Road and Sportsworld

Big-box and strip plaza restripes, phased overnight around store hours.

  • Huron Business Park

Truck courts, dock hatching and warehouse floors on weekend shutdowns.

  • Sunrise Centre and South Kitchener

Retail lots and newer subdivisions with condo and townhouse visitor parking.

Location pages

Cities We Serve Beyond Kitchener

Four cities outside Kitchener have their own pages, each with that city's by-laws, neighbourhoods and scheduling. Pick yours for the local detail.

Line Painting in Waterloo

Student housing in Northdale, tech campuses in the David Johnston Research + Technology Park and industrial units along Northfield Drive. Waterloo's by-law calls for a 2.8 m stall, and student lots are painted in August before move-in.

Line Painting in Cambridge

Hespeler Road plazas, tight lots in Galt's heritage district and logistics sites along the 401. Commercial lots still follow By-law 150-85, with the widest stall in our service area at 2.9 m.

Line Painting in Guelph

A separate city outside Waterloo Region, with the Hanlon Creek Business Park, south end plazas and housing near the University of Guelph. Its by-law asks for a 2 m accessible aisle, wider than the AODA's 1.5 m.

Line Painting in London, Ontario

Scheduled multi-day trips for large retail lots near Masonville and White Oaks, 401 industrial parks and court packages. Best suited to bigger jobs and multi-site clients.

Scheduling

Drive Times and Scheduling From Kitchener

Drive time from our shop decides how fast we can reach you and how we book the work. The closer cities get same-week service in season, and the farther ones are grouped so travel is shared across several jobs.

CityDrive from our shopHow we scheduleStandard stall minimum
Kitchener5 to 20 minutesSame-week touch-ups, evenings and weekends2.6 m by 5.5 m
Waterloo10 to 15 minutesSame week; August slots for student housing2.8 m by 5.5 m
Cambridge20 to 25 minutes via Highway 8 and the 401Same week; overnight on Hespeler Road2.9 m by 5.5 m (commercial)
Guelph30 to 35 minutes via Highway 7Grouped onto set Guelph days2.75 m by 5.5 m (non-residential)
LondonAbout 1 hour 15 minutes via the 401Planned multi-day trips for larger jobs2.7 m by 5.5 m

Stall widths matter when a lot is re-laid out. A plan drawn to Kitchener's 2.6 m minimum will lose stalls when it is redrawn to Cambridge's 2.9 m, so we always check the local by-law before quoting a new parking lot layout.

Local rules

One Crew, Five Sets of Local Rules

Accessible parking is the one rule that is mostly shared. The AODA sets Type A stalls at 3.4 m and Type B at 2.4 m with a 1.5 m aisle, but Waterloo's zoning asks for a 3.7 m Type A stall and Guelph's asks for a 2 m aisle.

  • Fire route signs and designation are set city by city, so we paint lines to the route approved for your site
  • Private lot enforcement works differently in each city, from Waterloo's licensed private officers to Cambridge's Council-approved schedules
  • Visitor stalls must be clearly identified under the Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge by-laws, so we stencil VISITOR and EV markings wherever they apply
  • Our accessible parking stall painting is laid out to whichever rule is stricter

Nearby towns

Towns Outside Our Regular Area

Brantford, Stratford and Woodstock are not part of our regular service area, and we do not keep separate pages for them. A larger job in one of those towns may fit on the way to or from a London trip.

Send us the address and scope and we will tell you plainly whether we can take it and how it would be scheduled.
